that he proposes to select you for

probationary appointment to the

Colonial Service as an Assistant

Mistress (Kindergarten) in the

Education Department of Hong Kong.

The present salary and other

general conditions attaching to the

appointment are set out in the

enclosed memorandum.

Your employment will be

under the Government of long kong,

and your emoluments will be paid

solely from the funds of that Colony.

As a member of the Colonial Service

you will be subject to the Colonial

Regulations for the time being in

force and you will be eligible to be
